Appreciation & Awareness Dinner

   Prison Discipleship Ministry holds an annual ‘Appreciation & Awareness Dinner’ in the spring. This is a catered dinner event. 

   The 2025 event will be held March 28. Registration and Fellowship begin at 5:45 p.m., dinner will be served at 6:30, and our program starts at 7:15. Our host is West End Presbyterian Church, 9008 Quioccasin Rd., Richmond.

   The purpose of the event is threefold: 

1. To  inform attendees about the different aspects of ministry PDM is currently involved in and plans for the future.

2. To encourage and solicit new volunteers for active participation in prisons, jails, and recovery houses.

3. To fund plans for ministry growth.

   The program for the evening includes recognizing PDM volunteers, brief remarks from  PDM leadership, testimonies from former inmates and volunteers, and a keynote speaker.

   There is no cost to attend because the dinner is underwritten by our generous Table Sponsors. However, seating is limited and is by first-come, first-serve reservation.
