Al Yancey is president of the PDM board of directors.
Al retired from a career in the insurance industry. He has served as a ruling elder at All Saints Reformed Presbyterian Church in Richmond for more than 30 years.
He has faithfully served PDM since its inception in 2017 as a commissioner, board member and ministry volunteer in prisons and jails. In addition to leading the board he is active as co-manager of the PDM Program House and a part time administrator.
Al and his wife, Sue, live in Richmond.
With a lifetime of service in the medical profession, Shirley Constantino continues to serve part-time as a Certified Nurse Practitioner for Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center.
Shirley is focused on increasing and improving PDM’s ministry efforts to current and previously incarcerated women.
She and her husband, George, are founding members of Church Hill Presbyterian Church in Richmond, where George is a ruling elder.
Shirley and George live in eastern Henrico County.
Andy Duke and Fred Sloan pursued a vision for a reformed and confessional discipleship ministry for inmates in jail and prison. It was established by the James River Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in America in 2017.
Andy has been involved in all aspects of the ministry since its inception. With his leadership PDM established its first Program House, an intensive residential discipleship program for ex-offenders; Andy is co-managing the program and teaching and mentoring.
Andy is a lifelong businessman. He and his wife, Rebecca, live in western Henrico County and are members of Knox Reformed Presbyterian Church in Mechanicsville.
Jonathan Kennedy is a member and deacon of All Saints Reformed Presbyterian
Church in Richmond.
He is the founder of Endeavor Capital, a boutique financial planning firm, Strengthening Endeavors, a leadership development firm, and co-founder of Endeavor CFO, a concierge accounting firm.
After serving as a discipling volunteer at Beaumont Correctional Center and Powhatan Correctional Center in Powhatan, Jonathan accepted the call to PDM board membership in 2024. He currently chairs the 2024 year-end ‘PDM Challenge Match’ fundraising campaign.
Jonathan lives with his wife, Katie, and their three children in Mechanicsville.
Nick Krauss is the pastor of Evergreen Community Church (PCA) in Powhatan and is a teaching elder in the James River Presbytery.
He earned his MDiv degree from Reformed Theological Seminary in Atlanta, then served on the staff of a Korean church plant and was a member of Providence OPC in Cumming, Georgia. He later interned at All Saints Reformed Presbyterian Church in Richmond, where he completed the requirements for ordination and subsequently was called by Evergreen.
As a PDM volunteer Nick has led worship services at Beaumont Correctional Center and Powhatan Correctional Center in Powhatan.
Nick and his wife, Haleigh, live in Powhatan.
Bryan Larsen serves as the treasurer of PDM. He is a ruling elder at Knox
Reformed Presbyterian Church in Mechanicsville.
A semi-retired accountant, Bryan participates in ministry activities and has taught at The Fix recovery program in King William County as well as REAL LIFE recovery homes in Richmond. He also serves as treasurer and board member for the East End Pregnancy Center.
Bryan and his wife, Rebecca, who also volunteers for PDM, live in Mechanicsville.
Tim Cox has served as a volunteer to PDM for several years in the capacity of providing
communications and is the secretary to the board. He has been contracted to provide
communication services to PDM in a part-time capacity.
Tim is a semi-retired writer and editor for two trade magazine publishing businesses that serve the forest products industry.
Tim and his wife, Linda, are members of Church Hill Presbyterian Church and live in Mechanicsville.
Ryan Cavanaugh was called as PDM’s full-time assistant director and evangelist in 2023 He is active in all aspects of the ministry.
Ryan is ordained and licensed to preach by the James River Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church In America. PDM exists and operates under the oversight of a commission of the James River Presbytery.
A native of California, Ryan earned a BA in Christian Ministry from Dallas Baptist University and a MDiv from Westminster Seminary California. He originally was ordained a minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church in the Presbytery of Michigan and Ontario. He served as an intern at Prescott Presbyterian church in Prescott, Arizona, and subsequently was pastor and church planter for Mission Church in Merrillville, Indiana.
Ryan and his wife, Rochelle, have two children and live in Richmond.
Eric Sims serves as a part-time administrator for PDM and also is a ministry volunteer.
Eric is a lifelong resident of Washington, D.C., where he still resides with his wife, Diane.
During a 10 year prison sentence the Lord drew Eric to faith in Jesus Christ. Since that time he has been led to serve Christ in prison ministry and in his local church. Eric earned a BS degree in Christian Ministry from Liberty University.
Upon release from prison he began a second career with a public transit company, eventually retiring as general manager.
In addition to his work with PDM, Eric ministers regularly to inmates in the District of Columbia Department of Corrections. He also serves as a minister at Eastern Community Church in Landover, Maryland, under pastor Damion M. Briggs, is a trustee over the church’s finances, and leads the church’s audio-video ministry.
